Victory Over Bisons Takes Hartford to 65-26
The Hartford Whalers defeated the Buffalo Bisons, 5-1, in Atlantic action at Wolves Ballpark, with Hartford pitcher Chris Holt named player of the game. Holt went 8.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 0, and struck out 3. His record improves to 10-6. Cory Lidle converted his 29th save in 32 tries.

Alex Ochoa had a productive trip to the plate with no one out in the bottom of the third inning. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double, helping Hartford to the win.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Ochoa told the Hartford Chronicle.

Hartford has an impressive 65-26 record.
