Bisons Win to Extend Series Lead to 4-0
|
Despite a great performance by New Orleans left fielder Lloyd Moseby, the Buffalo Bisons defeated the Brass by the score of 5-2 at Bay Hawks Ballpark today. Moseby went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times to earn player of the game honors, but could not prevent the Bisons from moving one game closer to the Round 4. Buffalo now leads the World Series 4-0.
Buffalo used the timely hitting of Kevin McReynolds to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Bisons on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Buffalo manager . "Our pregame was pretty good."
