Stag Hammered by Young, Drop Game 3 to Bisons
Riding the 2-hit performance of first baseman Kevin Young, the Buffalo Bisons got a road win against the Portland Stag, 4-2, in Game 3 of the World Series today. Young went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Bisons, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

Gregg Zaun, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 1994 draft, aided the Buffalo cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth. For the game, the catcher went 1-2 with a double and 2 walks.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Young told the Buffalo Times.

Game 4 is set to be played tomorrow at Tuttle Fields. The scheduled starters for the game are Danny Jackson for the Buffalo Bisons and Omar Olivares for the the Portland Stag.
